If you live in Southern California and have not yet read 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy, do yourself a favor. Don't start reading it now or in the near future. I urge you, really. On a lighter note. indications are a Category IV hurricane is headed our way. We do, indeed, live in interesting times.
