You may recall that I bought a bridge from someone who at the time seemed completely trustworthy.
Over the years I've been pretty satisfied with my purchase.
Every once in awhile, though, I need to go check it out -- just to make sure it's still there.
You know, there are people who sell things that don't exist.
I'm sure my bridge won't disappear but in this day and age you can't be too careful.
I'll keep you posted.

You know, New York State is talking about making your bridge a toll bridge. Did Governor Patterson check with you first?
Haha...Great post. I will check on your bridge next week when I am in the area.
Thanks for the offer and I accept it. Bridges, I've discovered, require a lot of attention.
By the way, if someone tries to sell it to you while you're checking it out -- well that would just be wrong. I already bought it.
Are you sure you bought this bridge? I thought I bought it! Now, like you, I'm not too sure.
Oh, dear. Is it possible? Surely we didn't both buy the same bridge. Thing like that just don't happen in this day and age.
