"Grandmother-In-Chief"

Barrack's Mother-In-Law, Marian Robinson, is planning on living with the Obama family at the White House. She will move in for now to acclimate her granddaughters and to help make the transition smooth. The big question is - will she stay or will she cause problems like supposedly most Mother-In-Laws do? What do you think?

To have a grandmother caring for your kids when you are not available is a blessing...Strong family and lucky kids.

Seems to me the house is big enough that they can stay out of each other's way...

It is a very humanizing image -- a mother-in-law living in the white house. When the Oval Office closes for the day, the person who occupies it must live life with its every day frustrations and joys and miracles.
By the way, I like the way you engage the reader in your posts. That's what blogging is all about. Well done.
